This three part series was an attempt to excavate and rework ancient Egyptian concepts around creation, death and rebirth. Through this act of re-reading, my research led me to interesting questions such as: How do the movements of sky goddess Nut, relate to the journey from objectification to self-actualisation in modern formulations of identity? What does the ancient Egyptian belief in a 'limitless ocean' share with modern ideas of death and belonging?
